- Power down; confirm ribbon map; free CH3 if occupied.
- Flash; wait; re-enter pools; confirm shares.
- Only then roll the change across a fleet.
If you already flashed and lost the pool
Follow not connecting to pool after firmware update: fix pools, network, ribbons, then official rollback.

For most solo operators in 2026, a stable official build that already mines is better than chasing the newest label. Upgrade when Bitmain’s changelog solves your problem — not because a marketplace listing shouted “FR1.9 required”.
